I guess I needed to relive my holiday week as I am sharing it all with you:)

PAD had a booth at the Crafty Wonderland booth this past weekend.  It was a lot of fun being part of Portland's crafty scene.  My favorite booth to shop at was right next door to us Little Lark.  Found lots to buy of course...not sure how much profit actually came home this weekend;)  Check out the great bags that Queen Bee Creations carries.  I couldn't resist!  I love supporting small businesses during the holidays.  Crafty Wonderland has always been a favorite place to shop at this time of year.  A few of my friends that also had booths--TimoraDelores handmade, Piper Ewan, Seasons K designs, Presents of Mind, Molly Muriel .  A friend that was not at the show this year, but worth checking out at other December shows is Miss Purl.

I'm back and so is Garageband:)  For now enough with other software.  Let's just chat.

Recently back from a trip to Maui!  So sad to return to such cold weather.  But I have finally gotten us a Flickr group page started.  I've uploaded photos from the trip on our ATKTpodcast group page.  I'll be adding photos for each episode here.  Probably will just put the episode number on them.

On the trip I read a couple of good books.  Here are the links to The true Memoirs of little K: A novel and Under the Dome.  Both good to disappear into during a vacation:)

Most of this podcast is to catch you up on what's been doing over the past couple of months.  Also an invitation:  If you are in Portland join us for an open house at our new Studio space on December 15th at 7pm.

Pico Accuardi Dyeworks now lives at 14739 SE Arista Dr., Oak Grove (just on the edge of Portland)

Yep just a typical day for me when you see that title;)  I finally have a small video for you of the goats following me about as I try to podcast.  The Rouen ducks start us off.  Did you know we have a colorway with all their colors?  I'll have to get that loaded to Ravelry.

Also, a couple of book reviews this week--Knitting New Scarves and My Last Supper.  Check them out!

Well I am finally back from an upexpected break from podcasting.  Last weekend was Oregon Flock and Fiber.  What a great weekend of people, fiber and (being Oregon) rain!  New bunnies came home as well as 4 fleeces.  That and some PAD fiber/yarn sales means a perfect weekend really:)

Here is a link to the BFL sheep farm I bought fleeces from.  Could not find a website for Harmony Haven Jacob sheep, but love their fleeces.  Highly recommend both.

Yarns on Stage is approaching fast.  Check out the website to see if a store near you is participating.  I love the colorway and pattern we came up with:)

Forgot to mention in the podcast that a new yarn store is opening in Portland today!!  Urban Fiber Arts is now open on NW 11th between Flanders and Glisan.  You will find PAD products there very soon.

On the Ravelry group let's talk about Fall soups, end of season recipes for produce you are pulling out of the garden and what is on your needles?!?

Summer in the meadow with an unruly dog chasing naked goats!  Yep, that is my morning:)  But last week I got to visit with a listener and yesterday spent a wonderful lunch with some old friends and a new one.

A link to the PAD blog which I have been very bad about updating.  However, there will be a spinning project log on here soon:)

And a link to the Smithsonian Coral Reef Project.  One of our listeners is participating with a bit of PAD fiber:)  Very cool!

I'm back!  A not planned for break means lots to talk about.  There are no links for this show, but feel free to ask for one if there is something I've mentioned that you are interested in.

Next week will be all about tomato sauces/salsas.  Get your favorite recipe ready to share!

I'm always interested in trying things out.  This season it is cleaning sheep fleece with the FSM bath.  Listen for a take on my adventures.  Through that experience (and I forgot to say it stinks!) I discovered Power Scour.  Great stuff for getting light lanolin out of your fleeces.

I also share about Chrissy Gardiner's new project (Rav link) that carries along with her next book.  Check out a great way to support designers!

Come listen to all the noises behind me as I sit in the meadow this episode:)

Stories from TNNA and Black Sheep Gathering are the bulk of this rather long episode.  June is always a full month around here.  Anniversaries, birthdays and Father's Day...oh my;)

If you want to see some great photos from TNNA check out hellotnna.com .  This is the site that Ravelry created to share with you all the new products that will be in yarn shops come Fall.

If you haven't already make sure to sign up for the Pico Accuardi Dyeworks newsletter on our website.  I am about to send out the June issue.

It may never stop being gray and rainy here in Western Oregon.  But at least it is always sweater weather;)

Lots on knitting, spinning, gardening and a catch up with the animals this week.

My spinning goal for Tour de Fleece will be to spin 12 oz of BFL from Spunky Eclectic to knit the Tappan Zee cardigan.  It is another raglan cardigan.  I really do seem to be obsessed with them right now.

My sis and I love scrabble!  I had a show interuption that it was my turn in our Words with Friends game.  We also like to play with the Lexulous email game of scrabble.

The winner of the Abstract Fiber skein of "Astoria" colorway is Eileen (Wiscknitter on Ravelry)!  Congratulations!!  Please contact me with your address.
